MoMA Library Slander Booklet

Project Type
Booklet Design

Background
In order to conduct research for this project, I scheduled a trip to the MoMA Library. I received a confirmation email confirming my appointment was scheduled. I later discovered they had scheduled me for a day the library was closed. I discovered this when I arrived at the specified time only to be dismissed. Despite being frustrated by the lack of professionalism, I made another appointment. When I was eventually granted access to the library, I learned that it was a small room and that borrowing books required a 24-hour notice. I found the exclusivity of the entire experience pretentious, so I channeled my annoyance into my design. This booklet is packed with both subtle and overt digs at the MoMA Library. Anything in gray is supposed to be selling the library's greatness while anything in blue is my voice popping through to tell you the truth about the library's regulations.
